Heidi’s beautiful creation of our lab Olive brightens up our home and is a happy, ever-present reminder of our beloved, family dog. Olive is no longer with us, but the painting has a prominent place in our living room. The likeness is so striking that our new white lab, Betty, can even be found gazing up at the painting now and again. We will cherish this painting forever.

As my daughter’s former art workshop facilitator, Heidi set up a beautiful, creative space where she encouraged and nourished my daughter’s spirit. Looking at Heidi’s own paintings, I feel like crying. Her work is as evocative and soulful as her tagline suggest. I can see the consciousness work that she has done embodied in the canvas and I feel privileged to witness a bit of her journey.

Heidi, I can't thank you enough for this beautiful portrait of my little girl, a portrait that so accurately captures her sweet nature. It is a special tribute to her and the time we had together, and it's especially meaningful now that she is no longer with us. Thank you so much for your talent and all you do!

I had just planned on emailing Heidi a photo of our 11-year-old Wheaten terrier, Seppo, but she insisted on meeting us in person. She took the time to get to know myself and my dog, see my space, take photographs of her own and be curious. The final painting of Seppo features him standing tall with a slightly puffed out chest, a tiny spot on his nose and my favourite blue-grey colour in the background. These small but significant details were the result of the extra time and attention she spent getting to know her subject.

Heidi is a soulful, evocative painter. I am fortunate to have a few pieces at my home in Los Angeles and passing by them each day gives me great joy. Her paintings transport me to a Zen-like emotional state. Her abstract beachscape is blissful and holds the power and peace of nature all in one.
